More Musical Q & A Lore...

Q: Is it true that a marathon automobile
race is held every year in honor of indie music?
A. Yes. Many, many Indie bands gather together and play music harmoniously
for a very long time. No one ever fights, starts fires or throws up, which
is one reason why we are so respected. This ceremony is known as "The
Indy 500."
In the background, to demonstrate solidarity, fancy cars
race around and around in circles, seemingly endlessly. When all the musicians
are tired, and the pit crews want some beer, the 500 is officially over
for another year. Long live the Indy 500!
How did music begin?
For over 7,000 years, groups of roving herdsmen
known as "Major Labels" have roamed the face of the earth, seeking
gifted individuals who are able to "sing" or to make sounds
with "instruments," which are unusual objects which can be manipulated
in some manner to create "sound." These items have been mass
produced by artisans in caves and shacks all across the world for eons,
and are frequently shipped across the seas by rail to other regions and
peoples, where they quickly are mastered, and the cycle begins again.
Only recently have Major Labels faced any serious predators in the natural
world. Though the predators at this time are scarce, there are rumors
that they are being seen in larger numbers in urban areas in particular,
some as loners and other in packs.
